Working from home and digitizing
We have clients across Canada within a wide breadth of industry sectors. While we have observed MANY changes in how we work since we started in 1981 (computers, for one!) we’ve seen rapid changes occur lately – since the COVID-19 pandemic began. This overall shift in how Canadians are working includes many more of us working from home. And most of us have shifted to having more virtual meetings than face-to-face – we are happy to meet using any platform preferred by our clients.
The other major change we’ve noted is a rapid uptake in the digitization of records. Since what we do here at LWA is find recoverable money in client’s A/P records, we have found more cases where the client can provide us access to their digital records, either remotely or on-site. We have adapted to these changing times with investment in data analysis, storage and security. Being in business for decades requires us to continue to change with the times, and this is an interesting time to be in business.
